SERVICES HELD IN COUNCIL BLUFFS FOR ANNE HADLUND

Funeral services for Anne A. Hadlund, 83, of Blair, who died Thursday, September 18, are Monday, September 22, at the Meyer Funeral Home Chapel in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Rev. Robert P. Nelson, pastor of First Baptist Church officiated. Burial is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.

Anne A. Hadlund was born in Herman, Nebraska, and lived there for many years before moving to Omaha. She then moved to Council Bluffs where she lived for over 30 years before moving to Blair. She died in an Omaha Hospital after a short illness.

She was a mail teller for the Omaha National Bank for twenty years. She had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Herman and was a member of First Baptist Church in Council Bluffs.

Her husband, Al Hadlund, preceded her in death in 1967.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Ray Blunk, of Council Bluffs; a step-daughter, Deloris Jones, of Jacksonville, Florida; four sister, Maude Ditmer of La Crescenta, California; Ruth Sprick of Grand Island, Nebraska; Edith Curley of Fremont; and Francine Silvis of Bozeman, Montana. Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.

Meyer Funeral Home in Council Bluffs was in charge of arrangements for the services.
