Services for Fred A. Hagerbaumer, 92 of Hooper who died November 28, 1994 at his home in Hooper, Nebraska are 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 1 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Fred A. Hagerbaumer was born December 11, 1901 in rural Washington County to Fred H. and Elisa Brandert Hagerbaumer. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, a member of the parochial school board, a trustee of the church and a member of the planning committee. He was also a member of the Lutheran Laymen’s League and the Elkhorn Valley Old Timers Baseball Association.

He married Hilda Hilgenkamp December 15, 1929 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Arlington.

He was a farmer and farmed four miles east of Winslow until he retired in 1966. At that time he moved into Hooper.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda of Hooper; one daughter, Darlene Long of Winfield, Kansas; two sons, Fred D. of Nickerson and Alden of Hooper; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Kevin Hagerbaumer, Brian Hagerbaumer, Bert Hagerbaumer, Mike Hagerbaumer, Mark Long, Mark Ruwe and Bob Flippo.

Joann Shurman is organist.
