Obert E. Hagerbaumer was born June 17, 1911 at Hooper, Nebr., the son of Henry Hagerbaumer and Mary (Geisler) Hagerbaumer. He was untied in Holy Matrimony with Elsie Hilgenkamp on March 28, 1937 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church north of Arlington, Nebr. Obert was raised at Hooper, Nebr. and for the past 40 years has been a resident of the Arlington area where he was engaged in farming and livestock feeding. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Obert E. Hagerbaumer passed away April 29, 1977 at the age of 65 years, 10 months, and 12 days. He is survived by his wife, Elsie; 3 sons Gorlyn, Leewane and Ardean; 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Arthur and Harvey; and by 2 sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Elsie) Gnuse and Mrs. Oswald (Leona) Fuchs.
