Former Blair resident Dorothy D. Hagins, 68, of South Sioux City died Sept. 15, 2006, at a Sioux City, Iowa, hospital.

Memorial services were Sept. 18 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Sioux City. Private graveside services were held in Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City.

Dorothy Darlene (Johnson) Hagins was born Jan. 20, 1938, in Webb City, Mo., to Jeremiah and Violet (Fleming) Johnson. She attended Leeds High School in Sioux City.

She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.

She was a homemaker. She loved flowers, gardening, crafts and dancing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Bob and Candyce Berens of Lino Lakes, Minn.; a daughter and her husband, Jackie and Edward Kaiser of Omaha, sister, Gloria Burkheimer of Clovis, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Barbara.
