This one is from an unknown publication, but this Thomas Kelley died Jan. 21, 1949. His father lived May 28, 1852 –June 28, 1912, and according to his tombstone, this Thomas Kelley, Jr lived Oct. 8, 1882-Jan. 21, 1949

Tom Kelley, 66, Succumbs

Onetime Blairite Operated Grand Island Hotel; Burial is Here

Thomas Kelley, 66, native and former Blairite, died suddenly at Grand Island. He had operated a hotel there many years, and planned to retire on Feb. 1.

The body was brought to the Campbell Mortuary in Blair. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, the Rev. Edward C. O’Donnell officiating. Interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery here.

Thomas Francis Kelley, son of Thomas Kelley, Sr., and Byrd Stockton Kelley, was born in Blair Oct. 8, 1882. His father operated the Blair water system in the early days.

Surviving the former Blairite are his wife, who was Margaret Kiefer, and a son, Francis Kelley, both of whom live in Los Angeles, Calif.

Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. R. Blomquist (Mae) of Rushville, Nebr.; two brothers, John J. Kelley of Fremont and Felix M. Kelley of San Diego, Calif., who is a retired naval commander; an aunt, Mrs. Mary Stafford of Los Angeles, and an uncle, George Keiley of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

There are a number of nephews and nieces, also cousins. Among the cousins are Kenneth A. Pound, Blair; Mrs. Florence Cooke, Denver; Mrs. Gus Lyden, Schuyler, Guy and Vard Stockton, Los Angeles; William Stafford, Scottsbluff; Pete, Gerald, Vincent and Genevieve Stafford, Los Angeles.
