Services were Sat., Nov. 30 at Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler Chapel in Omaha for Frances Ann Siert Miller, who died at her home Nov. 25, 1996. Rev. David B. Spong of Morning Star Lutheran Church officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Frances A. Miller was born april 25, 1914 at Blair to Paul K. and Effie Smith Siert. She grew up in Blair and graduated from Blair High School, where she played in the school band and was valedictorian of her class. She worked for nine years as a secretary in Omaha.

She married Leonard J. Miller April 4, 1937. They lived in Omaha and Portland, Ore. The family returned to Omaha in 1961.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Siert and Paul Siert.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia L. Cover, Billings, Mont.; Patricia F. and John Haynes; Janet E. and Thomas Nielsen; eight grandchildren and their spouses, James and Stacee Cover; Christine and Patrick Baldwin; Michelle Adkins; Thomas C. and Kara Nielsen; Marc Nielsen; Brian Haynes, Briana Haynes and Jesse Nielsen; and four great-grandchildren, Jennifer Cover, Kathryn Cover, Holly Adkins, and Morgan Baldwin.

Memorials may be directed to Morning Star Lutheran Church in Omaha; the Lions Club Eye Bank or the American Heart Association.
