ONETIME BLAIRITE, MRS. LEFFLER DIES
A onetime Blairite, 57-year-old Mrs. Chris Leffler of Windom, Minn., died Friday noon at Windom. A frequent visitor in Blair, she was here only a few weeks ago to attend the funeral of a family friend.
Mrs. Leffler was the former Mary Nielsen, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Nielsen. The Neilsens moved to Heron Lake, Minn., when she was a child.
Funeral services for Mrs. Leffler were held Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church in Windom.
Surviving Mrs. Leffler are her husband, Chris; one daughter, Mrs. Alex Buschwald (Virginia) of Indianapolis, Ind.; and a granddaughter, Susan.
Mrs. Leffler was the first of 13 Nielsen children to die. She is survived by five brothers and seven sisters, including three from this area - - Mrs. Jesse Davis of Blair; Mrs. William Petersen of Fremont; and Mrs. Carl Petersen of Cedar Bluffs.
