DALE LEGENHAUSEN RITES WERE HELD MONDAY, JUNE 17th

Funeral services for Dale H. Legenhausen, a resident of the DeSoto vicinity, were held last Monday afternoon.

The deceased had died Friday, June 14th at the Blair Hospital where he had been taken suffering from a heart attack. He failed to rally to treatment.

He was born at Weldon, Illinois, December 3rd, 1915 and was 58 years of age at the time of his death.

Mr. Legenhausen was a Federal Meat Inspector with headquarters in Omaha. He lived on the farm which for many years was the home of Dr. and Mrs. George Stanley.

He is survived by his wife, Nila and a son, Lee, both of Blair. A brother, Allison, also survives.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. James Metzger conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home. Washington Lodge, No. 21, conducted graveside services, Lloyd Jacobs, Master.

Pallbearers were Joseph Unstead, Clude ? (Clyde) Aten, Robert Fees, Kenneth Bender, Joe McManigal, and Rolland Smith Jr.
