ETHEL M. LE GRAND, 82

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21 for Ethel M. LeGrand, 82 of Fremont who died March 18, 1990 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont. Rev. Marcella Scavello is officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery at Fremont.

Ethel M. LeGrand was born July 28, 1907 at Fremont. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1924.

She married Walter E. LeGrand in Council Bluffs, Iowa, December 16, 1924. They farmed east of Fremont for 36 years and moved into Fremont in 1966.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter on October 21, 1981; her parents, Andrew M. and Ida M. Schneider Andreasen and a sister, Frances Thiesen.

She is survived by two sons, Frank LeGrand of Waterloo and Harold LeGrand of Marshfield, Wisconsin; two daughters, Margaret (Mrs. Ben) Wesely of North Bend and Patricia (Mrs. Leonard) Baker of San Diego, California; a sister, Marie Hansen of Omaha; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are her grandsons, David LeGrand, Robert LeGrand, Jon Legrand, Douglas Watson; Michael LeGrand, Mark LeGrand, Martin LeGrand and Mitchell LeGrand.

Barbar Lau is organist. Douglas Watson is soloist.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.

Moser Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements for the services.
