UNA C. LEMEN, 79

Services were Friday, May 15 at Church of the Resurrection in Omaha for Una C. Lemen, 79 of Omaha who died May 12, 1992 of heart failure at Ak-Sar-Ben Manor in Omaha where she lived. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

She joined the staff at Kelley’s North Bowl in the Florence area in 1958 and became day manager and league coordinator several years later. She and her son, James of Blair took over operation of the Husker Bowl in Blair in 1972. They sold it nine years later.

She was active in the Florence community for many years and with Florence Days. She was instrumental in the purchase and development of Camp Maha for the Omaha Girl Scout Council.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry.

She is survived by her sons, James, Blair; and John, Omaha; a daughter, Carolyn C. Rusk, Omaha; sisters, Edith K. Miller and Kitty Williams of Omaha and Jean Lonergan of LaMesa, California; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Florence Historical foundation or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
