He came here from Big Spring, Tex., May 30 on sick leave from his duties with the Soil Conservation Service there, and his condition became progressively more serious. He was confined to Methodist Hospital in Omaha for a time, then returned to his mother’s home at Walker Ave. and Butler St., and was removed to Blair Hospital Sunday.

Funeral services, with arrangements in charge of the Campbell Mortuary, were held at 3 p.m. yesterday at the Congregational Church. The Rev. Watson F. Lewis officiated. Severing his connection with Sinclair in 1937, Mr. Stewart later joined the Soil Conservation Services, and had served at Jonesboro, Ark., and Big Spring, Tex.
