Boots, Mary Louise (Swift) Age 66

Surrounded by the family who loved her, Mary Louise (Swift) Boots, of Papillion, NE left her family’s loving arms and stepped into the arms of Jesus on June 10, 2014 at Bergan-Mercy Medical Center following an illness. Mary was born at home on September 8, 1947 in Coburg, IA to Lloyd Swift and Florence (Carr) Swift. Mary grew up in Red Oak, IA and later moved to Cedar Rapids, IA. There she married Michael Richard Boots on June 11, 1966 and joyfully shared her life with him for 48 years. From their first date they knew they were meant to be and God blessed their union with 3 beautiful children, Jeffrey (Gina Judge) Boots of Omaha, Pamela (Bruce) Camden of Blair, NE, and Jennifer (Westley) Belt of Papillion, NE. Mary was also proud grandmother to Devin (Sierra Lewis) Boots, Skylar Boots, Randy Camden, Anna Camden, Kayleen Camden, Corey Belt, Cameron Belt, Joshua Judge and Mallory Judge; great grandchild Trenton English. Theirs was a special marriage and she modeled true love to all who knew her. For many years Mary faithfully fulfilled her role as a pastor’s wife serving in Cedar Rapids, IA; Story City, IA; Fort Collins, CO; ad Council Bluffs, IA. Mary is survived by her husband Michael and their children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Florence Swift.

VISITATION 6:30-8:30 pm Thursday at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home, 1221 N. 16th St., Council Bluffs, IA. SERVICE is 10am Friday at the funeral home with a luncheon immediately after. Interment will follow the luncheon at Cedar Dale Cemetery in Papillion, NE.
