GERALD LEMON

Services for Gerald R. Lemon, 80, of Blair, who died Tuesday, November 12, 1985, were held Friday, Nov. 15, at the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Dr. Howard Bailey officiated and burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Lemon was born January 24, 1905, the son of Robert and Maude Lemon of Kennard. He married Mary Jane Snyder on May 12, 1985.

He was a plumber in Blair for many years and retired from Chapman Plumbing in 1972. He was also a retired member of the Blair Fire Department.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Gerri Ann) Brennfoerder of South Sioux City; Mary Margaret Anderson of Sioux City, Iowa; Mrs. James (Jean) Stokes of Blair; Mrs. Duane (Shirley) Reynolds of Council Bluffs, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Marguerite Barry of Blair; one brother, Robert Lemon of Lincoln; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Michael Brennfoerder, Jim Carson, Mick Rahlfs, John Reynolds, Daniel Reynolds, David Johnson, Ron Anderson and James Grimmit.

Organist was Clare Cowing and vocalist was Homer Nielsen.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
