RACHEL LENOX, 98
Rachel Iva Lenox, 98, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Services are Tuesday at Sievers-Sprick Fuenral Home in Fort Calhoun. Rev. Ken Jensen of Good Shepherd Lutheran home will officiate. Burial will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
Mrs. Lenox was born oct. 17, 1899 in Ponca, Neb., to William and Hattie Selby. She grew up in Ponca and attended school there. On Feb. 17, 1915, she married Richard Lenox in Dakota City, Neb.
She belonged to the Presbyterian Ladies Association and attended the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Frances, Kathryn, and Louise; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; a daughter, June Jipp and a son-in-law, Arnold Petersen.
