Services were Monday, October 24, at Campbell Funeral Home for George Everett Hain, 84, who died October 19, 1983, at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, California.

The Rev. Harold Dodson officiated. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

George Everett Hain was born March 17, 1899, in Blair to Charles and Mary Jane Tyson Hain. He moved from Nebraska to Pasadena, California, in 1940, and then to Ventura, California, in 1976. He was self employed as a gardener.

He married Martha Gehringer. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by two daughters, Virginia Erickson, South Pasadena, California; and Georgia Meyer, Thousand Oak, California. One brother, Howard Hain; and one sister Edith Hain, both of Fremont, also survive him.

Pallbearers were Eric Erickson, Clarence York, John Meyer, Ray Therkelsen, Virgil Adams and J. Merton Kuhr.

Clare Cowing was organist.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
