SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR LYLE HALE

Services were held Saturday, December 31, at 11 a.m., at Hennessey-VanCleave-Hurley Chapel, Missouri Valley, Iowa for Lyle Lee Hale, age 63, who died Wednesday, December 28, 1977, at his home in Blair. Interment was in the Magnolia Cemetery, Magnolia, Iowa.

Lyle Lee Hale was born June 24, 1914 at Mondamin, Iowa. He married Enid G. Hillman February 16, 1935, at Logan, Iowa. He farmed near Modale for many years, moving to Blair after his retirement in 1975. He had been in failing health for the past four years.

He is survived by his widow, Enid, and two daughters, Mrs. Don Schlitz, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Mrs. Jim Stangel, Omaha. Three sisters, Mrs. Helen Cooper, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Opal Moats, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mrs. Leone Ernest, Missouri Valley; and two brothers, Darrell Hale, Logan, Iowa, and Don Hale, Missouri Valley, and five grandchildren also survive him.

Pallbearers for the services were Robert Breyfogle, Paul Richardson, Doyle Knadel, Gerald Osborn, Duane Layton and Walter Utman.

Hennessey-VanCleave-Hurley Chapel was in charge of arrangements for the services.
