Services for David C. Hall, 18, of Arlington who died Monday, January 24, 1994 of a gunshot wound at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 27 at the Arlington City Auditorium in Arlington. Rev. Lee Milligan of the Arlington Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

David C. Hall was born April 25, 1975 in Blair. He lived all his life at Arlington, graduating from Arlington High School in 1993.

While in high school he was active in football, wrestling, school choir, Art Club, was a Yearbook staff member, did political cartoons for the school paper, participated in band and as a stage hand for the school play and designed the senior T-shirt.

He was a cook at Aunt Kate’s Truck Stop at Missouri Valley, Iowa at the time of his death.

He was a member of Arlington Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret and Charles Hall.

He is survived by his mother, Cathleen Bates of Arlington; father and step-mother, Bill and Pat Hall of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sister, Cynthia Hall of Arlington; grandparents, David and Dorothy Jenkins of Arlington; great-grandmother, Hilda Jenkins of Randolph, Wisconsin; and nephew, Zach Suelter of Arlington.

Pallbearers will be Mike Hays, Chris Lee, Scott Fuchs, Joe Wendt, Mark Mitchell-Crowe and Matt Harter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Hansen, Jr., Tim Woods, Joe Matthies, Trevor Gnuse, David Carlson and Dan Thompson.

Tamera Loftis will be pianist. The Arlington Swing Choir will provide music.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
