Anella M. Fuhlrodt, 65, of Blair, died December 8, 2015, at Methodist Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 10th, 2015 at the First Lutheran Church in Blair at 10:30 AM with visitation starting at 9:30 AM, prior to the service.

Anella M. Fuhlrodt grew up in Hawaii, primarily in Kahuku, and graduated from Kahuku High School in 1968. In 1969 she joined the United States Navy, joining up at the same time as her father. After her honorable discharge from the Navy, she met her husband Rodney Fuhlrodt in Hawaii and the couple were married October 1, 1971, at a church in Kahuku, Hawaii. The couple made their home in Hawaii until 1976 when the family moved to Blair. When in Blair she was employed with several local businesses, one of her favorite jobs was at Dana College. Her children and grandchildren were the loves of her life, along with being well known for her cooking.

She is survived by her husband Rodney A. Fuhlrodt; children: Rodney J. Fuhlrodt of Blair, Kristin and Timothy Sterns of Omaha, Mark W. and Angela Fuhlrodt of Omaha, and Keala and Danial Roy of Blair; grandchildren: Felisha and Matthew Croy, Star, Heaven, Mylei Fuhlrodt, Natalie and Gabrielle Sterns, Ashlyn Fuhlrodt, Rosie and Zoie Roy; great-grandchild: Marleigh Croy; siblings: Catherine and Tevita Tupou of St. George, Utah, Francine Afuvai of Salt Lake City, Utah, James V. McDermott of Salt Lake City, Utah; father-in-law and mother-in-law Warren and Donna Fuhlrodt; brothers-in-law: Ronald Fuhlrodt of Blair, Brian and LuAnn Fuhlrodt of Blair; sisters-in-law: Janet and Greg Nieto of Blair, Diane and Gary Wehrli of Blair; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
