Robert William Wallace was born on April 28, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska to Lloyd F. Wallace and Minnie Kobs Wallace. Robert grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and went to high school at Bell, California and had special training in the US Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Minnie Wallace, daughter Teresa Ann Wallace and first wife, Frances Jenner with whom he had two children, Teresa Ann Wallace and Steven Wallace. Robert is survived by his wife, Janet Gilliam-Wallace of Blair, NE (Robert and Janet were married on bicycles in 1998), son, Steven (Debbie) Wallace of Pueblo, CO, step-son, Eric T. Lee of Los Angeles, CA, sister, Louise Worthy of Long Beach, CA, niece, Linda Sarfaraz and nephew, Jeffrey Worthy both of California, six grandchildren, Uncle Roy Kobs and Cousin, Jerry (Donna) Kobs.

Bob’s main vocation was as a newspaper printer working at the Los Angeles, California Times-Mirror. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blair. His hobbies were playing harmonica, deep sea fishing and long distance bicycle riding. Bob will be remembered for being able to play beautiful music by ear. Robert died at the age of 85 at Creighton Hospital in Omaha, NE.
