MYRTLE LEONARD BURIED AT BLAIR SATURDAY

Funeral services for Myrtle L. Leonard were held at Blair last Saturday. Mrs. Leonard, a resident of Wheaton, Illinois, had died in the Wheaton hospital Tuesday, August 20th.

The deceased was born at Blair and lived here until after her marriage. She was the wife of Jesse Leonard who died earlier this year.

Mrs. Leonard was born at Blair in 1894 and was 79 years of age at her death. She is survived by four daughters and two sons, none of whom live in the Blair area.

The daughters are Mrs. Hazel Kuykendahl of West Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Lois Ladd of Minnesota; Mary Joan Johnson of California; and Mrs. Shirley Allen of Omaha, Nebraska. The sons are Donald Leonard of Michigan and Kenneth Leonard of Wheaton, Illinois.

A sister, Mrs. Ethel Johnson, lives in Blair and another sister, Mrs. Pauline Johnson, lives in Arlington.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 24th, at the Campbell Mortuary. The Rev. Gordon Patterson conducted the service and burial was made in the Blair cemetery.
