Kenneth C. (K.C.) Leonard Sr., 52, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 6, in Central Dupage County Hospital in Winfield, Illinois.

He was born May 28, 1932 in Wheaton, Illinois and was a 20-year retired member of the Wheaton Police Department and a member of Wheaton Masonic Lodge 289. He served in the U.S. Army for six years including the Korean War.

Mr. Leonard is survived by his wife Patricia; three daughters, Patricia E. (Richard) Fletcher of Colorado; Christine Kelly (Rick) Schrieber of Oklahoma; and Kathleen Leonard of California; two sons, Kenneth C. (Elaine) and Lee A. Leonard, both of West Chicago; three sisters, Hazel (Kenneth) Kuyendall of Texas; Lois Ladd and Shirley (Jack) Allen, both of Nebraska; brother Donald Leonard of Michigan; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 9, and an ash service was held at the Blair Cemetery Saturday, Nov. 17, Father Jess Hansen of the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church officiating.
