Kathleen L. Swift age 63 of Arlington, NE passed away Friday Dec. 25, 2015 at her home near Telbasta, NE. She was born Aug. 30, 1952 at Council Bluffs, IA to Donald and Lucille Ahart.

Kathleen was raised in Council Bluffs and lived at Neola, IA for a few years after high school. She married Scott Swift on September 13, 1987 in Springfield, NE. In 1987 she moved to Arlington, NE. She worked as a Home Health Care Specialist for Northstar Services retiring in Sept. of 2014. Kathleen and Scott were former 4-H Leaders and Cub Scout Leaders in the Arlington Area.

Survivors include, her husband, Scott Swift of Arlington, NE; sons, Zachary Swift and wife Emily of Arlington, NE and Jeremy Swift and special friend Sarah Leibert of Fremont; daughter, Megan Von Seggern and husband Chris of Oakland, NE; mother, Lucille Ahart of Neola. IA; sister Lori Ahart and 3 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by, her father, Donald and 1 brother.

Memorial Service 11 AM Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday. Memorials are suggested to the family for a later designation
