Forrest M. Kramer, age 82, of Blair, Nebraska died January 2 at Carter Place in Blair with his wife by his side. Memorial services will be held Saturday January 9 at 2:00 PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Forrest M. Kramer was born on March 16, 1933, in LeMars, Iowa the son of Louis and Mabel Kramer. He was raised in LeMars,graduated from LeMars High School, then attended and graduated from Westmar College in LeMars with a BA in Education. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War Era. He retired from Omaha Public Schools as an Industrial Arts Teacher. Forrest was a Past President of the Blair Optimist Club and also Past Governor of the Nebraska District of Optimist International. He was a carpenter his entire life and built the family home. Forrest enjoyed traveling with Joyce. The couple traveled extensively throughout the United States during their retirement years.

Mr. Kramer is survived by his wife, Joyce, two sons Forrest Lee (Mona) and Kyle (Lisa) Kramer, brother Charles (Lillian), sister Marjorie, grandchildren: Mariah, Kenneth, Katelyn, and Justin, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Mabel Kramer.

Memorials may be made to Optimist International Foundation in Forrest’s name.
