Walter Schlapfer, 91

Walter Schlapfer, 91, of Carson City, NV, formerly of Arlington, passed away on June 25. He was born on Sept. 17, 1924.

Walter was born and raised in Arlington. He was married to Gloria Samuelson on July 11, 1953, in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary together.

Walter is survived by his wife Gloria and one brother, Gus Schlapfer of San Diego.

He was preceded in death by 7 brothers: Clyde, Herman, Richard, Archibald, Jack, Robert and William Schlapfer; and 3 sisters: Betty Frye, Nina Schlapfer and Anne Dickmeyer.
