Young Man Dies After Long Illness

Arnold Bertelsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Bertelsen, passed away last Monday, January 25th, at his home on north Maple street at the age of twenty-two years.

He was born in North Dakota and came with his parents to Blair about five years ago. He has suffered for a number of years from multiple sclerosis.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers and three sisters all at home.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 27, at two p.m. from the First Lutheran church with Rev. Lund officiating. Burial was made in the local cemetery.

We wish to express our thanks to the neighbors and friends who assisted us during the days of sickness of our son and brother and also after his death for the sympathy shown us. Also those who sent such beautiful floral offerings and for the words of comfort of the minister and for the beautiful music at the funeral services.
