Funeral services for Chris Winters Larsen of Omaha, who died in an Omaha hospital Wednesday, January 20th, were held at the Lee O. Moore Funeral Home in Omaha at one o’clock last Saturday afternoon. The body was brought to Blair and burial was made in the Blair cemetery.

Chris L. Winthers*, 50, passed away at his home in Omaha shortly before noon yesterday. Funeral services will be held at the Leslie O. Moore mortuary at 3210 Farnam street in Omaha Saturday at 1:00 o'clock after which the body will be brought to Blair for burial. A short service will be held at the Blair cemetery at 3:00 o'clock. The deceased was reared in Blair where he followed the brick mason trade until eight years ago when he removed to Omaha. During his residence in Blair he was very active in community affairs, and especially in the Blair fire department of which he was chief for several years. His health began to fail several years ago and he was confined to his home for the past six months. Surviving him besides his wife are five brothers, L.L. of Bloomfield, F.L. of Omaha, and Ted L., Eugene L. and Carl L., all of Portland, Oregon. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Winther Larsen and a sister, Mrs. M.L. Spiker, all of Portland, Oregon, also survive him.
