Grace Baker, 95, of Blair, passed January 7th, 2016 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Community. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 12th, 2016 at Campbell Aman Funeral Home at 10:30 AM with burial following at the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at 9:30 AM.

Grace Baker was born in Mondamin, IA on January 2nd, 1921 to Lena (Engelke) and John McIntosh. She was a resident of Blair for over 60 years. She grew up in Modale, Iowa and attended school there. She married Howard Baker in 1939. The couple originally made their home in Modale and then moved to Blair in 1949.

Grace enjoyed above all else spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed quilting, gardening and canning.

Grace is survived by her sons Bob and Karen Baker, Steven and Shirley Baker, Dan and Joy Baker, daughter Cheryl Jipp, son-in-law Larry Mathison; 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Baker, daughter Bonnie Mathison, and son Kenny Baker.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice in Grace’s name.
