#2-22 Mar., 1923 - The Enterprise Blair, Nebr.- Mathilda Chapman

News of the death of Mr. Haman Chapman of Arlington on Tuesday, March 20, at the home of her son, Joe, was received with considerable regret by the older residents of Blair who knew and loved Mrs. Chapman. She was a pioneer in this county, coming with her late husband to Arlington in the very early days She was a loyal friend, a true neighbor and a wonderfully bright and entertaining companion. Her passing brings again the sad thought that the ranks of our pioneer men and women are thinning rapidly. Funeral services are being held this Thursday afternoon from the old home in Arlington.
