| Mrs. Herman Christ died at the hospital in Fremont on Monday, October 22,1923, following an operation. The funeral was held at the Herman Methodist church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Bowden conducting the services. Music for the funeral was arranged by Mrs. E.P. Hanson, who furnished the accompaniments. The singers were Mildred Swanson, Mrs. George Lowe, Fred Robertson and C.R. Gray.
Sena Hansen was born near Herman, January 20, 1891, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hansen, now of Colorado Springs. She was educated in the schools of Washington and Burt counties. On May 18, 1910, she was married to Herman Christ. To this union were born three children: Harold, age 12; Erwin, 11; and Rolland, 6. She is survived by her husband and children, her parents, three sisters, Mrs. Chris Truhlsen, of Herman; Mrs. Ray Hart, of Laurel, Nebr.; Miss Martha Hansen of Colorado Springs; four brothers, Hans Hansen, of Herman; Thorwald Hansen, of Omaha, and Martin and Emil Hansen of Colorado Springs, besides numerous other relatives.
