Martha M. Hineline, 95, of Fort Calhoun, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services were held Thursday April 30 at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Martha Marie Hoier was born September 7, 1913, to Martin and Eva (Bedrova) Hoier on the family farm near Blair. She was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Blair. She attended the Hill Creek and Pleasant View schools.

She married William Hineline on September 7, 1933, at First Lutheran Church in Omaha.

Mrs. Hineline worked for Wilkinson Manufacturing in Fort Calhoun for 18 years.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church, DeSoto Women’s Club, Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Quilters and Danish Brotherhood.

She enjoyed gardening, baking, reading, playing cards and spending time with her family. She was a lifelong resident of the DeSoto area before moving to Good Shepherd Home in 2007.

Mrs. Hineline is survived by two daughter and sons-in-law Judy and Bill Hardy of rural Fort Calhoun, Linda and Larry Kastrup of Blair; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband William in 1973; a son Billy Dean; a brother, Morris Hoier; and a sister, Anna Hineline.

Memorial may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, First Lutheran Church or the donor’s choice.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Martha is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Bill Hardy of rural Fort Calhoun, Linda and Larry Kastrup of Blair; five grandchildren, Denise and Jeff Bland, Bryce Kastrup and Kiley Woodard, Jill and David Sellon, Joy and Will Rooney, Jessica and Bryant Brummer; four great-grandchildren, Kynlee Kastrup, Kai Kastrup, Jacob Sellon and Andrew Sellon.

Services 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at First Lutheran Church. Burial Blair Cemetery. Visitation begins at 1 pm Wednesday with family receiving friends from 6-8pm. Memorial may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, First Lutheran Church or donors choice.
