BERNARD HALLER DIES IN CALIF.

Word was received in Blair this week of the death of Bernard (Barney) Haller on November 10th at a Los Angeles Hospital. He was born in Blair 81 years ago. He has lived in Glendale, California, for the past 47 years. He was a self-employed pharmacist for 50 years and was one of the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous in Los Angeles.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel Denton of Kennard, four sons and seven daughters, 37 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also a sister, Mrs. Marie Burstien of Monterey, Calif.
