Funeral services were Tuesday, May 22 at Deschutes Memorial Gardens, Bend, Oregon, for Floyd E. Halstead, 82 who died suddenly May 18, 1990.

Floyd E. Halstead was born in Blair October 19, 1907 to Clem and Ellen Gilliland Halstead. The family moved to Central Oregon in 1949 where he worded as a mason until retirement. He was a longtime masonary contractor in central Oregon.

He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.

He married his wife, Bernice in Logan, Iowa, October 31, 1929. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Dee McNulty; three granddaughters, Vicki VanCleave, Nancy Cole and Lori Mills, all of Tumalo; and seven great-grandchildren.
