Dugan Funeral Chapel, Fremont, Nebraska "Harold W. Dunker, age 85, passed away Wednesday December 16, 2015, at Immanuel Fontanelle in Omaha.

Harold Dunker was born January 17, 1930, to Harold and Emily (Walla) Dunker in North Bend, Nebraska. He graduated from North Bend High School in 1948. He married Maxine Peters and they were blessed with five children: Richard, Karen, Michael, James, and Susan. In 1972, he married Dolores Hansen and gained a step-daughter, Virginia. Harold worked for Hormel’s for over 20 years. He also farmed, enjoyed fishing and hunting, and liked woodworking so much that he often helped carpenters. He served as the Mayor of Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska, and was a volunteer fireman for many years. He was also a Master Mason. After joining Dolores at Michael’s Jewelry, he became a registered jeweler, certified gemologist and a certified gemologist appraiser.

Harold is survived by his wife Dolores; his sons Richard (Deb) Dunker, Michael (Deanna) Dunker, and James (Karen) Dunker; daughters Karen (Patrick) Stout, and Susan Hajek; step-daughter Virginia (Richard) Beck; Grandchildren Kristine Dunker, Rebecca Stout, Henry Stout, Remington Stout, Frances Davis, Jessica Weyerman, Emily Giles, Stephen Dunker, Kelsie Anderson, Abigail McGee, Jennifer Sharp, Jordan Dunker, Taylor Dunker, Caleb Dunker, Brian Dunker, Bruce Hajek, Bradley Hajek, and Dustin Hajek; step-grandchildren Jeff Beck and Alicia Adams and many great-grandchildren; brother Keith (Dorothy) Dunker; step-brothers Verlin (Millie) Dunker and Bill Dunker; brother-in-law Calvin (Darleen) Siebler; Aunt Nadine Ristau and many nieces and nephews.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Emily Dunker; step-father Alvin Dunker; step-sister Carol Gastl; father and mother-in-law Louis and Alma Siebler; sister-in-law and her husband Lorena (Wayne) Carmany.

Memorials may be directed to Salem Lutheran Church or the Immanuel Foundation.

Visitation: 5:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, December 28, 2015, at Dugan Funeral Chapel.

Memorial Services: 10:30 AM Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Salem Lutheran Church. Pastor Clay Skurdahl will be officiating."
