Mae Sigler, 86

Services were Wednesday, June 25 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Omaha for Mae Sigler, 86, who died June 21,1991 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair. Revs. Melvin Vance and Lowen Kruse officiated. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery near North Bend.

Mae Auten Sigler was born August 18, 1904 on a farm near North Bend. She grew up there and graduated as valedictorian at North Bend High School in 1922. She was a 1926 graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University and received a gold medal for the highest four year average.

She taught school from 1926-29 at David City.
