OBITUARY

Sallie Deaver was born in Bedford, Indiana October 11, 1869. She departed this life at her home near Herman, Nebraska July 11, 1930. Age 60 years and nine months.

She was united in marriage October 10, 1896 at Bedford, Indiana to Wm. Otis Bridwell. To this union nine children were born six boys and three girls, two of the boys having died in infancy. Shortly after her marriage she and her husband came to Norfolk, Nebraska; in 1910 they moved to Colorado and after a twelve year residence there, they came back again to Nebraska and settled in Burt county upon a farm, and was living upon the farm at the time of her death.

Of the immediate family and relatives left are: the husband; four sons, Quincy, Ralph, Homer and Harlan, all of Herman; three daughters, Lois of Omaha, Hazel of Ft. Morgan, Colo., and Melcy at home; two nieces, one nephew, three brothers, one sister, with other relative and a great company of friends and acquaintances.

The funeral services were held at the Tekamah Methodist Episcopal church on Sunday afternoon, July 13th conducted by Re. D. A. McCullough, pastor of the church. Burial was in the Tekamah cemetery.
