Family includes: wife, Janice Harper, Lincoln, NE; son, Jacob Harper, Lincoln, NE; mother, Darlene Harper, Kennard, NE; sister and brother-in-law, Teri and Doug Wolfe, Bennington, NE; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Laurie Harper, Omaha, NE, Bob and Amy Harper, Kennard, NE, Merle Harper, Arlington, NE; mother-in-law, Frances Klingemann, Omaha, NE; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Wes Dodge, Omaha, Wanda and Johnny Dowdy, Dallas, TX, Tom and Carla Klingermann; many nieces and nephews; one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, William Harper and father-in-law, William Klingemann.

FUNERAL SERVICE, 10am, Monday, June 22, 2009 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1800 S. 84th, Lincoln, NE, Pastor John Kunze and Pastor Calvin L’Heureaux officiating. VISITATION Sunday June 21st 2-8pm at Roper & Sons Funeral Home, 4300 “O” St., Lincoln, NE with family greeting friends 5-7 pm. Burial will be held at Wyuka Cemetery. Memorials can be given to Messiah Lutheran Church.

Bruce R. Harper, 52, died Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Lincoln.

Services were Monday, June 22, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Interment was at the Wyuka Cemetery.

Bruce R. Harper was born June 11, 1957 in Omaha, to William and Darlene (Japp) Harper. He was a plumber for Quality Water Services and a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Janice, and son, Jacob Harper, both of Lincoln; mother Darlene Harper of Kennard; sister and brother-in-law, Teri and Doug Wolfe of Bennington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Laurie Harper of Omaha, Bob and Amy Harper of Kennard, Merle Harper of Arlington; mother-in-law, Frances Klingemann of Omaha; sisters-in-law and spouses, Nancy and Wes Dodge of Omaha, Wanda and Johnny Dowdy of Dallas, Texas, Carla and Tom Klingemann of Omaha; many nieces and nephews; one great-nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Harper, and father-in-law, William Klingemann.

Memorials are suggested to Messiah Lutheran Church. Roper and Sons Funeral Home in Lincoln was in charge of arrangements.
