Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Methodist Church for Everett A. Clanton, retired director of housekeeping and grounds for Methodist Hospital. Mr. Clanton was the father of Dennis Clanton of Blair.

Clanton, 68, died Wednesday as a result of heart problems, a family spokesman said.

Clanton, an Omaha resident for 35 years, initiated a work-training program at Methodist for former residents of the Beatrice State Home.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; daughter, Barbara Parker, Omaha; sons, Harold and Will, both of Omaha, and Dennis, Blair; brothers, Fred, Norfolk, and Lee, Columbus; sister, Mildred Larsen, Omaha; and 11 grandchildren.

Burial was at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
