Sheila Heinssen, age 52 of Blair, died January 28, 2016 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services were held 10:30 AM Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair with graveside services following in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday beginning at 4:00 PM with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Sheila Heinssen was born on August 16, 1963 in Blair, the daughter of Dean and Carol Heinssen. She attended Blair Community Schools and graduated from Blair High School in 1981. She was employed with Good Shepherd Lutheran Community for over 30 years. Sheila was a very avid reader, enjoyed riding her bike, Nebraska football and spending time with her nephew and nieces.

She is survived by her mother Carol Heinssen, sisters Shelley (Mark) Arnold and Lori Townsend of Omaha, nephews Rick and James Arnold and niece Ashlie Townsend, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
