Services For Irvin Harrie Held February 19

The funeral of Irvin H. Harrie, 66, of Omaha was February 19, 1979 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church near Bennington. The Rev. Albert Engler officiated.

Harrie, an insurance agent for Farm Bureau in Elkhorn for 20 years, died Friday, February 16 of a heart attack. He was born February 16, 1913 in Chapman, Nebraska. Harrie was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 362.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; sons: Thomas and David, both of Omaha; daughter, Mrs. Phillip (Carol) Reddick of Omaha; two grandchildren; brothers Henry of Azuza, California, Fred of Chapman and Myron of Omaha; sisters: Ella Moore of Grand Island and Irene Wagner of Fullerton, California.

Pallbearers were William Andresen, Terry Christensen, E.T. “Bud” Darden, Arthur L. Gottsch Jr., Howard Nelson and Leonard Parkening.

Burial was in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Arlingon.

Swanson funeral home, Elkhorn, was in charge.
