Mrs. W. A. French 64, Succumbs

Funeral services will be held Saturday for Mrs. W. Allison French, who passed away at the Dodge County Community Hospital early yesterday (Wednesday) morning. She had been a patient in the hospital for three weeks following a fall in which she suffered a broken vertebra in her back. Death was caused by a blood clot which developed in her leg.

Mrs. French, nee Nora Larsen, was born May 28, 1890, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pete Larsen of Kennard. She grew up in the Kennard vicinity and on February 3, 1909, was married to W. Allison French. For the past 30 years they had made their home on a farm just west of Kennard.

Mrs. French is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Harry Kahnk (Alice), Cedar Bluffs; Mrs. Herbert Moberg (Edna), Craig; Mrs. Lester McCann (Cleo), Omaha; and Mrs. Rudolph Juul, (Norma), Blair; one son, Melvin, of Omaha. Seven grandchildren also survive, as well as two brothers, Edgar of Blair, and Harry Larsen of Kennard, and one sister, Mrs. Ray Dixon of Poncha Springs, Colorado.

Rev. H.C. Jorgensen will conduct a service at the French home on Saturday at 1:30 and at the Kennard Methodist Church at two o’clock. The Bendorf Funeral Home will be in charge of interment in the Kennard Cemetery.
