Caroline L. Schmidt

Caroline L. Schmidt, 71, of Omaha, died Friday, July 12, 1991, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Caroline Friedrichsen was born June 13, 1920, in Drake, Saskatchewan, Canada.

She married Harry Schmidt, who preceded her in death Oct. 30, 1989.

Survivors include a son, Ronald of Elkhorn; a daughter, Marcia Hoban of Omaha; three brothers, Ben of Columbus, Fred of Glenville, Minn., and Ken of Sun City, Ariz.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Reichmuth Funeral Home in Elkhorn. The Rev. Larry Arganbright will officiate. Burial will be in German Cemetery in Bennington.

A memorial has been established to Mount Michael Abbey near Elkhorn.
