On Sunday, Feb. 16, Wm. C. Hamilton died at his home in this city, aged 75 years.

Mr. Hamilton was born in Monroe County, Ohio, and was married forty-five years ago to Miss Margaret Wann, who with three children survive him. The children are Mrs. Mary Bruner, of South Omaha, A. E. Hamilton, of Forbes, No. Dakota, and Mrs. Lucy Robinson, of Blair. One sister, Mrs. Lizzie Saint, of Elliott, Iowa, also survives and was present at the funeral.

The deceased had resided in Ill., and Iowa, coming to Blair in 1883, occupying the house in which he died for over twenty years and from which place the burial was made the services being conducted by Rev. C.P. Lang. Other relatives who attended the funeral were Mrs. Lizzie Ludwig and Mrs. Jane Hamilton of Modale, Iowa and Mrs. Frank Terry of Elliott, Iowa.

The aged wife and other relatives have the sympathy of many friends.

W. C. Hamilton died Saturday evening from pneumonia, and the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the house with Rev. Lang in charge. Mr. Hamilton had been sick only a few days. He was born in Ohio in 1834, and came to Blair in 1883. Besides the aged wife he leaves a son who lives at Forbes, North Dakota, and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Bauer of South Omaha, and Mrs. Lucy Robinson of this city.

W. C. Hamilton died at his home on Lincoln Street last Saturday after a short illness. He was 78 years old and had lived in Blair for twenty years. He was a unassuming, honorable man, respected by all who knew him.
