Funeral services were held Monday, September 21, at First Methodist Church for Erna Luzetta Hampton, 79, who died September 17, 1981, at Blair Memorial Community Hospital.

Rev. Gordon Patterson conducted the services. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

Erna Luzetta Hampton was born October 30, 1902, at Tekamah, Nebraska to Jonas and Nettie Hurd Metzler. A homemaker, she was married to Earl Hampton, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Erna) McIntosh, Blair. Two sisters, Luzetta Brundage, Blair; Elizabeth Bohannon, Craig, Nebraska; and four brothers, Earl Metzler, George Metzler, both of Tekamah; Calvin Metzler of Blair and Glen Metzler, Omaha, also survive her.

Pallbearers were Willis Metz, Rollie Metz, John Daniels, Kenny Dickard, Opal Golden, and Gary Finn.

Clare Cowing was organist. Kermit Goll provided the vocal music.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
