Services Held For Mrs. Frank Cope

Funeral services were held on Monday, September 17, for Mrs. Frank (Evelyn M.) Cope. Mrs. Cope died September 13, 1979 at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Cope lived at 2079 Grant Street in Blair.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. at the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair with father Daniel Galas officiating. Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements with burial at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Dunlap, Iowa.

Evelyn M. Cope was born on October 19, 1905 at Dunlap, Iowa. She and her husband were active in the restaurant business in Blair before their retirement.

Surviving is her husband Frank and one sister, Rose Marie Smith of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Pallbearers were: Roy Cope, Carl Cope, Lester McKnight, John Smith, Tom Smith and Ed Smith.
