Evelyn Cope**, 69

Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, August 14 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair for Evelyn Fairbanks Cope, 69, who died August 11, 1989 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Evelyn Fairbanks** Cope was born November 9, 1919 at Woonsocket, Rhode Island to George Phillip and Catherine Owen Poudrier. She attended school in Woonsocket and graduated from practical nursing school in 1971 in California.

She moved to Fort Calhoun in 1972 and worked at Good Shepherd Home for a few years. She retired in 1977 due to poor health.

She is survived by a son, Calvin David Fairbanks, III; and a daughter-in-law, Nancy of Rolla, Missouri. Two granddaughters, Catherine Elizabeth Fairbanks, and Tina Goeddey; one great-granddaughter, Jennifer Goeddey; one great-grandson, Michael Goeddey; a sister, Doris Reynolds of Los Angeles; and three nephews, James W., John A. and William H., all of Los Angeles also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank Cope who died in January 1987. **Note: She was Frank’s 2nd wife. Find a Grave Memorial # 113534362; Her name is Irene D. Poudrier not Evelyn as above stated. Evelyn was Frank’s 1st wife. Irene is buried in Block: 110 Lot: 12 Grave: 2
