Richard Corwin To Be Buried on Wednesday

Funeral services for Richard L. Corwin, 72, who died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair on October 10, 1982, will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, at First United Methodist Church in Blair.

The Rev. Gordon Patterson will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Richard L. Corwin was born February 28, 1910, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Charles O. and Florence Smith Corwin. He married Eunice Brown on September 5, 1930, in Independence, Missouri.

He moved to Omaha in 1931 and moved to Blair in 1951. He retired from the Kiewit Construction Co. in 1968.

He was a member of the Blair Masonic Blue Lodge and the Tangier Shrine.

He is survived by his wife, Eunice; two sons, Robert E. Corwin, Oakland; and Richard C. Corwin, Jr., Omaha; and one daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Frances) Colon Lincoln. Seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Mrs. Lola McMillin, Kansas City, Missouri; and one brother, Orville Corwin, Houma, Louisiana, also survive him.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
