JEAN HANKS IS BURIED AT MEAD

Funeral services were held Monday, August 30, at First Presbyterian Church in Omaha for Jean Lenora Hanks, 66, of Omaha, who died August 26, 1982, at an Omaha hospital. Graveside services were held at Morningside Cemetery in Mead.

Jean Lenora Hanks was born November 3, 1915, at Wahoo, Nebraska, to Isaac and Jennie Anderson Nelson. She was married to Leonard T. Hanks.

She was a home economist with Omaha Public Power District for 34 years and was home management supervisor for the Famers Home Administration. Her husband was a former state director of the Farmers Home Administration and was supervisor for Washington County. They were sponsors of Gateway to Life at the First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard T. Hanks, Omaha; a sister, Mildred Bickel, Coatsville, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers were the deacons and their wives of First Presbyterian Church.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Omaha.

Crosby-Kunold-Burkett was in charge of arrangements for the services.
