LILLIAN M. HANNA, BLAIRITE FOR OVER 60 YEARS, DIES

Mrs. Lillian M. Hanna, a resident of Blair for more than 60 years, died last Sunday, November 5th, at the Redman Nursing Home in Omaha. Mrs. Hanna was 92 years old. She was born at Tarkio, Missouri, August 27, 1880.

She came to Blair with her husband more than 60 years ago. Her husband, the late A. E. Hanna was an early-day photographer who specialized in school photos. He traveled a wide territory taking pictures of town and rural school groups to whom he sold class pictures. Mr. Hanna died many years ago.

Mrs. Hanna is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Blanche Davis of 1232 Colfax Street with whom Mrs. Hanna had made her home.

Two sons and a daughter had preceded her in death.

Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary Wednesday morning with services conducted by Rev. Robert Bees of S. Mary’s Episcopal Church. Members of the Welcome Rebekah Lodge, of which Mrs. Hanna was a long-time member, also had a part in the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery.
