Robert L. Willis, 79, of Tekamah, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Visitation will be held beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday until services.

Robert LeRoy Willis was born Dec. 3, 1931, in Giltner to Harold Otto and Naomi Jane (Dasher) Willis. He attended school in Omaha and Grand Island.

During his lifetime, he worked as a laborer for Willis Construction. He was a longtime resident of the Herman and Blair areas.

He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Agnes Willis of Herman, and sister, Sonja Dye of Kennard.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Combs.
