AGATHA HANSEN'S SERVICES ARE ON FRIDAY

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, at First Lutheran Church for Agatha C. Hansen who died April 12, 1983, at the Immanuel-Fontanelle Care Center in Omaha.

The Rev. Carl Schattauer, Jr., and Dr. C. C. Madsen will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Agatha C. Hansen was born December 2, 1896, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Niels and Carl C.C. and Marien Dorthea Henriksen Mengers. She married the Rev. Laurits Christian Hansen on March 30, 1921, in Webster Grove, Missouri.

She graduated from Dana College in Blair in 1918 where she majored in music. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Laurits; one son, David C.; and one brother, Dr. Ethan Mengers.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Hansen, Arlington; and Ethan Hansen, Atascadero, California; and two daughters, Sara Anne Houser, Blair; and Ellen M. Schooley, Chicago. Fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive her.

Pallbearers will be Otto Stave, Dr. Clifford Hansen, John Nielsen, Charles T. Hansen, Gerald Hansen, Michael Hansen and Marcus Beck.

Homer Nielsen will be soloist. Clare Cowing will be the organist.

The family requests that memorials be made to Good Shepherd Home in Blair or Immanuel-Fontanelle Home in Omaha.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
